The Pézénas Tourist Office’s “Scénovision Molière” won an award in the Tourism and New Technologies category.
“Scénovision Molière” is a commemoration of the dramatist, Molière. This dramatised sequence of 3D images and soundscapes recounts the life of Molière in five Acts, dealing with his origins, his childhood in Paris, travels in Languedoc-Roussillon and his time in Pézenas, his return to Paris and his death during a performance. Visitors are provided with polarised glasses so that they can follow the five acts in five rooms, each providing a new setting. You will find the “Scénovision Molière” at the townhouse known as the Hôtel Peyrat.

The City of Montpellier is restoring the Maison de Castelnau, a site with a history that is linked to arts and crafts, with the aim of providing more space and scope for arts and crafts studios and workshops. Support from CNAMS34 – the local branch of the National Federation for Arts and Crafts - and from several professional arts and crafts associations, shop-window studios, both educational and commercial, will make possible the promotion, conservation and regeneration of craftsmanship in the city of Montpellier.
